Indigeco is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to recruit for the esteemed position of Manager, Indigenous Partnerships, on behalf of a renowned Client, representing a profoundly impactful endeavor.
In this role, the Manager will manage partnership initiatives within a transformative program, offering invaluable leadership and strategic direction in fostering collaborations across the Goulburn Murray and Narrm regions.
The Indigenous Partnerships Team operates as a collaborative and agile unit, fostering relationships, co-developing strategies, facilitating program delivery, and evaluating partnership impacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and cultivate an interdisciplinary team to ensure high performance and cohesion.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and implement innovative interdisciplinary initiatives within the business' partnership program.
- Ensure effective governance of partnerships, including those with Indigenous communities, state and territory government agencies, and educational institutions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic Indigenous partnerships.
- Lead the implementation of recommendations from the Partnership Review conducted in 2023.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on outcomes and impacts of partnership activities.
- Coordinate the preparation of reports, research, submissions, and papers for key internal and external stakeholders.
- Foster a team culture supported by improved processes to enable an integrated approach to partnership outcomes.
- Build confidence and trust among partners and stakeholders by showcasing the capabilities of the Partnerships team in managing collaborative initiatives that align with the business' objectives.
- Facilitate collaboration and alignment within the Partnerships team, contributing to strategic planning, budgeting, and reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations and responsibilities within supervised areas.
- A tertiary qualification and extensive relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving outcomes within complex institutional environments (university, government, corporate, or similar).
- Proven track record of building and maintaining partnerships in Indigenous cultural contexts, with a history of success in achieving strategic priorities.
- Ability to manage budgets effectively, develop business plans, and write successful grant applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated planning, strategic development, and problem-solving skills, with experience in project execution.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to ensure successful delivery of partnership programs and services.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and documents.
- Capacity to exercise initiative and judgment with a high degree of professional autonomy.
- Highly developed skills in influencing, developing, and inspiring a wide range of stakeholders.
