As Performance and Partnership Leader, you will inspire and lead your team to be the provider of choice in the delivery of the Disability Employment Services (DES) program in your region. You will drive performance to ensure achievement of significant outcomes and the provision of high quality service delivery to customers and employers.
You will be committed to building and maintaining relationships and strategic partnerships with employers and community partners that create sustainable employment opportunities and outcomes for program participants. You will drive customer acquisition activities that engage job seekers, realising a continuous pipeline of program participants.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead, coach and drive team performance ensuring KPI’s and objectives are pursued and met each month and ensure operational activities are focused and prioritised to deliver strongest results
- Understand the labour market, resourcing needs and constraints of employers and devise solutions
- Seek, develop and maintain strategic partnerships with prospective employers that identify new and ongoing employment opportunities
- Be a thought leader in diversity and inclusion initiatives and effectively articulate to employers and partners the value proposition, benefits and incentives of employing program participants
- Own revenue and expenditure budgets
- Provide organisational reporting and interpret, analyse and leverage data to enhance performance outcomes
- Network and represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and forums
- Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including community partners, Department of Human Services and CoAct.
- Provide leadership and foster a positive team environment and culture
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience of leading teams, including remote and mobile teams, and capability in driving Performance and meeting KPI’s and targets
- Strong people management, coaching and mentoring skills
- Exceptional ability to build strategic relationships resulting in business outcomes
- Knowledge and use of the Disability Employment Services (DES) contract DEED and guidelines desirable but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to adapt style to suit audience
- Ability to prioritise workload, use initiative to find solutions and multi-task
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to interpret a broad range of information including data, contracts and deeds
- High level of computer literacy
- An open car drivers licence is required as this role comes with a fully packaged vehicle.
Candidates with relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience within the Employment Services, Training, Rehabilitation, or Community Services or a similar type sector are highly desirable
