The Role

As the Indigenous Relationship Coordinator, your role is to develop and maintain a positive, long term relationship between the Management Team at El Questro, the native title holders and Wilinggin Aboriginal Corporation (WAC). This integral role has you collaborating with a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure that the G’day Group meets its obligations under the El Questro Native Title Agreement and will organise fantastic initiatives for those who visit and live in the Kimberley Region. 

Skills & Experience
  • Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with Aboriginal people, including a knowledge of Aboriginal cultures, languages and histories. 
  • A highly developed understanding of organisational systems that support Aboriginal engagement and collaboration. 
  • Experience contract management, ideally with an Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA).  
  • Strong communication skills, including across cultural and linguistic boundaries. 
  • Demonstrated experience in leading organisational change. 
  • An empathetic and highly engaging personality. 
  • An admiration for living in remote, natural environment and have a love for the great outdoors.

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at El Questro. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time.

This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
