Job Description
Getting to know the role and your responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic category management plans that identifies key opportunities to drive value to the business;
- Establish, monitor, and implement suppliers’ key service levels and performance enablers for key service categories;
- Proactively gain and maintain knowledge of respective supply markets and commodity pricing movements;
- Manage tender process in Scanmarket, evaluate supplier proposals, and presenting the commercial summary & recommendations for stakeholder approval;
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to furnish service level agreements with nominated suppliers that responds to both corporate and hotel level expectations;
- Manage the roll-out of the national agreement with the hotel’s network;
- Respond to hotel requests and inquiries in a timely manner; and
- Provide escalation points to solve any issues between hotels and suppliers.
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Procurement, Engineering or project management;
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Procurement / Supply Chain, preferably with Indirect Categories;
- Previous experience with ERP systems (eg Ariba, SAP, Oracle Proc Cloud, Purchase Plus etc);
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- Sound understanding of basic financial principles and strong business acumen.
