Cystic Fibrosis Community Care (CFCC) is a not-for-profit organisation that works with and for people with cystic fibrosis (CF) across New South Wales and Victoria. CF is a genetic condition that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. CFCC assists everyone affected by CF to be well and live fuller lives by providing information, support, and guidance to people living with CF and their families. It also advocates for services and systems that support the CF community and seeks to raise awareness, understanding, and funds for services and research.

The Role

This is a part-time hybrid role for an Individual Giving Manager based in Carnegie, Melbourne. The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for Individual Giving, managing the Individual Giving program, and cultivating relationships with donors. The duties include donor prospecting, donor acquisition, stewardship, and recognition, as well as supporting the identification and solicitation of major and planned gift prospects.

You will be joining a small team of marketers and fundraisers with a complementary mix of backgrounds who love to roll their sleeves up and get in while having a laugh. Creativity, testing concepts, and idea sharing are encouraged. The environment is supportive and encouraging, and we are here to see fundraising for and awareness of Cystic Fibrosis grow. Fundraising and Marketing is in a growth phase, so it is a great time to get on board.

Qualifications, Experiences, and Skills

• Qualification in business, marketing, communications, or a related field or relevant experience.
• Experience establishing and growing Individual Giving programs, acquisition strategies, and stewardship programs.
• Donor centered with strong relationship management and people skills.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM and fundraising platforms, Raisly will be highly regarded.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices and of relevant legislation and regulations.
• Experience in the not-for-profit sector is highly desirable.

This role may require flexible working at weekends and evenings with TOIL available.
