Jaymak Perth has looked after WA's food business's for over 15 years by providing specialist hygiene services to assist in restoring and maintaining food safety standards and facility hygiene.
Due to significant growth, we are looking for a professional, punctual, organised and reliable self-starter prepared to build a great understanding of health and food safety. The successful candidate will be well organised and possess a great persona with flexible availability.
Work areas often consist of, but are not limited to, large cold storage facilities, food production and packing facilities, commercial kitchens, aged cares, hospitals and even prisons to provide the various services we offer.
You will be working predominantly from 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday, providing our services to our clients at their sites, but occasional night works and/or weekend work is expected.
The location of work changes daily as we must travel to our clients premises to provide our services so there is frequent travel required as part of this role.
You will often be working within cold environments, at height via scissor lift/boom lift and in wet conditions - so tolerance/experience in these scenarios is beneficial.
A typical day will require you to organise yourself, your equipment and your team (if applicable), liaise with the client to re-confirm the work, arrive to site, liaise with site staff and set-up your work area, complete job paperwork throughout the course of your job, taking photos of the work as it is completed (photos are used in our service reports), complete the job to a high standard and in accordance with our procedures and tidy up the work area, ready for the customer to re-use without hazard.
Previous specialised cleaning experience is not required but is beneficial.
Training will be supplied in Food Safety and Jaymak processes and procedures.
All PPE is supplied.
Due to the mobile nature of our work as well as working within businesses with high hygiene requirements, you will need the following:
- Current Flu Vaccination with Certificate (required for Health Sector)
- Current COVID Vaccination with Certificate (required for Health Sector)
- Current Drivers License
You will also ideally have, or be able to quickly obtain:
- Scissor Lift/EWP License
- Construction Industry White Card
- Police Clearance (Issued within the last 12 months)
