AddressSemcom is an award winning POS Design & Production Agency looking for a motivated and talented Industrial Designer to join our team.
You will be working with an energetic & fun team of Graphic & Industrial Designers producing; Temporary & Permanent POS, Retail Displays, Interactive Kiosks, Exhibition Displays as well as Packaging Solutions for leading brands in the FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Liquor, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Confectionery and Health & Beauty industries.
We are looking for someone with strong 3D Rendering and Creative Hand Concept Ideation Skills, who is highly motivated and driven, and who is willing to learn and grow as part of our team.
Working alongside our Industrial & Graphic Designers, your role will involve:
- Designing all types of POS & Retail Displays from Temporary to Permanent using a range of materials including corrugated cardboard, plastics, metals, wood, across a range of manufacturing processes including printing, fabrication, vac forming, extruding, injection moulding etc.
- Creating designs that are innovative, creative, functional, manufacturable & to client brief, budget & deadline.
- Communicating innovative & creative design solutions for presentation & production, by initial hand sketching and then creating beautiful presentations in 2D & 3D Rendered format.
- Creating workshop drawings suitable for manufacture.
- Creating in house prototypes & mockups.
- The Design, Specification, Quoting & Production Management of POS Displays with both our local and offshore factory partners.
- You will be using industry standard software for 3D modelling, cad drafting, graphic design, project estimating & management (Solidworks, Adobe Creative Suite, Office, Gsuite etc).
Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Design or similar related field are a must, with a portfolio showing strong 3D rendering capabilities.
Industry experience in the same or similar related field is a must.
