Brief
Interesting and rewarding work with a great maintenance team at our Caringbah manufacturing site. The Industrial Electrician / Electrical Fitter is a key member of the Maintenance Team undertaking all aspects of preventative maintenance diagnosis and response works as well as assisting with new equipment builds and refurbishment of major production machines.
The Role
- Liaising with the Maintenance Coordinator daily to prioritise and plan jobs.
- Carrying out electrical and mechanical repairs and re-builds to equipment throughout the entire site.
- Carrying out Easter and Christmas shutdowns.
- Completing paperwork/documentation as necessary.
- Assisting external contractors as directed to carry out breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the entire site and work with them on specific jobs.
About You
- Minimum two years of demonstrated experience in an industrial/production/facility as an electrician or electrical fitter in a manufacturing environment.
- Electrical Fitter, Electrician or relevant trade or engineering qualification is essential.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Aptitude for problem solving and experience in diagnosis of electrical motors, heaters, actuators, PLCs and related issues.
- Commitment to excellent WHS standards and practice.
