Our Virginia based projects workshop is seeking a qualified, hands-on electrician with industrial electrical experience to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple disciplines through utilising your relevant skills and experience by providing leadership, support and guidance to our high performing workshop team.
You will be responsible for:
- Undertaking and leading industrial electrical installations and commissioning activities
- Interpreting electrical design drawings and working closely with electrical engineers on design solutions
- Assembling electrical equipment including solar and battery systems
- Conducting testing and troubleshooting
- Providing technical advice to support project delivery
- Providing supervision and mentoring of apprentices and trades assistances
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to ensure work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
About you
- Trade certified electrician with current QLD Electrical License
- Strong preference for industrial, SCADA, RF or instrumentation experience
- 3-5 years proven industrial electrical experience
- Ability to interpret electrical design drawings with strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficient in using a variety of electrical test equipment
- Ability and drive to learn new skills and pick up on technical concepts quickly.
- Adaptable and agile to meet project and customer priorities.
- A current C-Class Drivers’ License.
