Industrial & Maintenance Electrician

What will be your role?

We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic Industrial & Maintenance Electrician on a Full-time basis. The role is mainly involved repairing, inspecting and maintaining the company's electrical power tools, machine calibration and fault finding. You will be joining a tight knit highly skilled team who value workmanship, and a well-established Polyethylene Pipe manufacturer.

Key task and responsibilities:

• Routine inspection, testing and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems
• Support the execution of preventative maintenance plans and breakdown maintenance
• Contribute to planning, scheduling and completion of maintenance tasks
• Participating in Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement activities to enhance workplace
• Coordination with the suppliers for parts quotations and repairs

To be considered you must meet the following criteria:

• Electrical Trade Qualifications / Electrical License
• Industrial diagnostic and fault finding experience
• Test and Tag Ticket
• Understanding of Safety systems and processes including Risk Assessments, incident reporting and planned inspections as per Queensland requirements
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a must
• Flexible, punctual & motivated
• High Risk Work License: Forklift (EWP & Confined Spaces desirable)
