The Role:
The Industrial/Process Engineer plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency at the site. They analyze process and production lines, utilizing real data to optimize production and make informed decisions. Collaborating with the engineering team, they support maintenance and operations, focusing on faultfinding and improvements to maximize plant uptime and efficiencies. Effective communication is essential as they identify, measure, analyze, and recommend enhancements across the production environment.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Generate and analyze data for operational enhancements and decision-making.
- Develop OEE trends to improve efficiency.
- Assist in engineering projects and initiatives.
- Provide cross-departmental support with data and processes.
- Monitor product quality to meet standards.
- Maintain standard engineering practices and document processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies for projects.
- Develop support documentation and training plans.
- Participate in project reviews and process improvement.
- Assist in fault finding on equipment and processes.
- Possess knowledge in instrumentation, automation, safety systems, etc.
- Foster effective communication among teams.
- Proactively improve workplace safety and environment.
- Perform other directed duties within skillset.

About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Industrial/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- A natural passion for continuous improvement, quality and a ‘can-do attitude’
- An understanding of time & motion studies, process flow and value stream mapping
- Have good attention to detail and accuracy
- Maintain a safe working environment
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Analytical experience in PBI and SQL preferred
