Infants Lead Educator - Join the Team in Beenleigh
As an Infants Lead Educator, you'll be instrumental in supporting our leadership team to deliver a safe, engaging, and enriching curriculum tailored to the needs of our youngest learners. Your role extends beyond the classroom as you mentor fellow educators, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and empower a team committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education and care.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, the National Quality Standard, and uphold ethical standards.
- Promote and embody our service's philosophy in all aspects of your work.
- Drive the adoption of evidence-based practices and stay informed of industry developments.
- Provide ongoing support to colleagues and assist in service provision.
- Collaborate with the Director and Management Committee to ensure smooth operations.
About the Role
Our Lead Educators play a crucial role in supporting the leadership team to implement a safe, engaging, and educational program for children on a daily basis. They also serve as mentors to fellow educators, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead, mentor, and empower a team dedicated to delivering high-quality early childhood education and care.
- Adhere to the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law, relevant regulations, and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.
- Operate in alignment with the Code of Ethics and the service's Code of Conduct.
- Promote and embody the service's philosophy throughout all responsibilities.
- Drive the adoption of contemporary, evidence-based practices within the service.
- Stay informed of relevant theoretical developments and apply them as directed.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety guidelines.
- Respect and uphold privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Offer continuous support and assistance to colleagues across all aspects of service provision.
- Provide ongoing support to the Director and Approved Provider/Management Committee.

Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, we are looking for individuals with:
- Diploma in Early Childhood/Working towards Diploma (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Current QLD Working with Children Check
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to positively, proactively, and regularly engage with staff, families and students
Work Hours
We are seeking candidates available between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. This availability allows us to meet the needs of our team and the children in our care, ensuring our programs run smoothly and effectively.
