Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of ship and submarine building infrastructure in support of the Commonwealth’s continuous naval shipbuilding program. Since being formed in 2017, ANI has developed an enviable reputation for delivering significant major projects and facilities.
ANI is currently focussed on the expansion and modernisation of the Osborne Naval Shipyard into a world-class shipbuilding precinct, including design and construction of the nuclear powered submarine construction yard, and the continued operation and maintenance of Common Use Infrastructure. To deliver on this significant program of work, the organisation is now seeking to recruit a number of newly created, key and senior long-term positions based in Adelaide.
Reporting to the Manager, Physical and Cyber Security, you will be the lead on Data Governance and Information Management and implement and embed Data Governance and Information Management protocols across the organisation. This role is responsible for the operational accountability of the strategic deliverables and leading the creation and adoption of best practices across multiple business areas.
Key deliverables for the role will include:
- confirming ANI’s readiness with respect to Information Governance when compared to the requirements of the National Archives Act;
- suggesting amendments or creating appropriate documentation to ensure ANI’s compliance with the National Archives Act;
- amending and/or developing processes and procedures to develop ANI’s adherence to information governance principles;
- conducting information sessions with all ANI staff with respect to Information Governance.
The successful candidate will possess the relevant IT qualifications, experience AND DATA governance knowledge required to be successful in such a role. Well developed leadership and communication skills will be required as will excellent policy planning and delivery, stakeholder engagement and influencing abilities.
