ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYThe
Information Security Supervisor (InfoSec Supervisor) supports the Agency Security Adviser (ASA) in the operational management of Finance’s
Information Security function, consistent with the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF). The InfoSec Supervisor is supported by an APS5 InfoSec Officer.The role includes the management of Finance’s Special Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and Communications Security Officer (COMSO) function, consistent with Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) requirements. The InfoSec Supervisor is supported in this role by the APS5 InfoSec Officer (and Deputy COMSO). There is no requirement for travel but both positions are subject to a Restriction Allowance to compensate for the requirement to be available to work outside the bandwidth of normal hours, including the provision of 24/7/365 SCIF access for urgent and unforeseen purposes and for extended hours during peak Budget periods.The successful candidate will be a practical, pragmatic and driven individual with applicable experience in Information Management and Security and the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET Privileged Access (TS-PA) security clearance and COMSO accreditation.DETAILED VACANCY INFORMATIONFor detailed information about this role including the job specific capabilities, please refer to the downloadable vacancy pack, which can be accessed by clicking the hyperlink at the bottom of this page.ELIGIBILITY ADVICE & CANDIDATE NOTES
