ADD VALUE - THE ROLE

Playing a vital role within the Information Systems team through the development, implementation, maintenance, and support of Council's core software and systems, the Corporate Application Officer exercises sound judgment in setting priorities, managing tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure smooth operations and the continual enhancement of Council's corporate application suite.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure that software applications are properly integrated and supported.
  • Provide technical and application support for Corporate Applications.
  • Provide specialist support and advice for all corporate application related Helpdesk CRMs within the agreed timeframes.
  • Manage complex Information Technology projects with key stakeholders using project management methodologies.
  • Installation of corporate system patches and provide notification to users of new and upcoming features.

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 35 hours per week.

Remuneration package for this position is based on Grade 12 of Council's Salary System Protocol which equates to a base salary of $87,136 - $98,016 per annum plus superannuation.
