Job description

About the role:

Victoria Police are currently advertising an ongoing part-time (0.6 FTE) Information Technology Support Officer position within the Business Support Division (BSD) of the Intelligence and Covert Support Command (ICSC).

ICSC is a high-risk Command that is dependant upon the appropriate protection of sensitive information. Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.

  • Processing of IT service requests, access forms, device configuration and centralised desktop hardware procurement.
  • Conducting regular audit requests on shared folders and drives.
  • Undertaking other tactical and transactional IT tasks at IT Coordinator request.

  • Demonstrated initiative, problem solving and proactive work practices.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and programs, as well as identify new and innovative processes and procedures.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Requirements and relevant information:

  • One (1) x 0.6 FTE part-time, ongoing position available.
  • This position is part time and the salary plus superannuation will be pro rata.
