About the Role
Are you interested in developing new skills and supporting a diverse and productive workforce? This role will support the information Technology Unit's systems, hardware and software, to ensure that all staff have access to the technology they need to fulfil their roles and deliver a broad range of quality services to our community.
About You
We are looking for someone who will provide exceptional customer service, is passionate about Information Technology, has strong communication skills and strives to deliver results and continuous improvement. You will have demonstrated experience in service desk operations, IT hardware and networking infrastructure. You will be one of a team of five highly motivated and energetic IT staff working in an organisation that values flexibility, accountability, integrity and respect. Relevant industry qualifications will be highly regarded.
About the Region
Horsham Rural City Council is a vibrant municipality located approximately 300 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. The majority of its 19,880 residents are located in Horsham, a hub for health care, niche retail, education and schooling, community services, arts, sports and culture.
There is an abundance of wide open space, small populations and diverse natural assets, including recreational lakes, wetlands, the Wimmera River, Mount Arapiles and nearby Grampians National Park.
