About your new role:
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Developer to join the Global Digital and Business Services team. In this role, you will take the lead to standardise our infrastructure environments across multiple business units.
Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the robust security of existing and proposed systems, providing regular reports on security.
Maintaining the security, availability, and performance of systems.
Managing incidents, problems, and changes within infrastructure environments.
Proactively identifying and managing problems within infrastructure systems.
Performing daily maintenance tasks and participating in after-hours support for critical issues.
Collaborating closely with the IT team to deliver strategic infrastructure projects.
Maintaining a 3rd level support presence for the escalation of significant issues.
Contributing to the maintenance and review of disaster recovery documentation.
What you need to succeed:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior Infrastructure Systems Engineering role.
Technical proficiency in LAN, WAN, and Perimeter Security standards, setup, and proactive management.
Strong understanding of Microsoft environments: Active Directory & Federation Services, Group Policies, Office 365.
Experience with SAN and DAS storage and backup management.
Technical expertise in Cloud-based Azure and DR, Cisco Networking, VMWARE.
Industry qualifications are ideal - CCNA, MSCE, ITIL.
