The Opportunity:
In this role you will be responsible for the operational delivery of IT Infrastructure and desktop support services whilst providing guidance on the strategic direction for the IT infrastructure function.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Infrastructure management, experience with multi-cloud infrastructure environments, with a focus on ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of our systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Supervise and guide a team of high performing Infrastructure Operations professionals, tasked with day-to-day operations and maintenance of our IT Infrastructure, covering networks, servers, storage and cloud services.
Formulate and implement strategies aimed at enhancing infrastructure performance, reliability and security.
Coordinate and oversee infrastructure upgrade projects for existing systems.
Manage relationship with key vendors providing outsourced services.
Preparation of the annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets and overseeing the day to day management of the infrastructure budget.

What we are looking for:
Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or related field.
10 years of experience in a comparable role including managing enterprise scale IT infrastructure function.
Demonstrated leadership experience with strategic planning abilities.
Experience with infrastructure as code methodologies.
Proven proficiency in vendor management and negotiation.
Working knowledge of ITIL and project management expertise is advantageous.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as the Australian Privacy act, ISO27001 and industry standards such as SOC 2.
