Seven News is looking for a full time Ingest Operator to join our News Editing team. You will be working alongside talented professionals.
About the role
- Primarily entails ingesting camera vision and feeds from multiple sources into a Quantel-based server system.
- Exchanging video material within the Seven Network for use in our various News bulletins.
- Quality control and monitoring of all incoming feeds and digital assets.
- Communicating with field crew, producers and control room.
- Some video editing with the potential for upskilling.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends & public holidays.
About You
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Perform well under pressure with tight on-air deadlines;
- The ability to work in a team environment;
- Adept at keeping track of multiple feeds simultaneously;
- Experience working with broadcast equipment (highly regarded);
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
