Inhouse Signage Manufacturing All-rounder

We currently have a great opportunity to join the team in our Signage Division. Usher Group Signage Solutions designs and manufactures high-quality signage for retail, commercial, Health and Educational construction sectors nationally. Our primary projects are with Tier One builders.

Whether new to the industry and keen to learn or an experienced signage technician, we want to hear from you. Reporting to the Production Coordinator, you will be an important member of our Arundel, Gold Coast manufacturing team working within a factory environment to assemble all manner of signage, utilising laser and CNC cutting, acrylic and metal fabrication, digital printing and vinyl cutting, spray painting, illuminated signage and signwriting.

Experience in signage assembly and adhering to production deadlines is an advantage however applicants new to the industry with the right attitude or relevant manufacturing industry experience are welcome.

• Confident vinyl, mask and painting, and large format printed graphic experience an advantage.
• Experienced in CNC and laser operation, fabrication, LED's, and painting an advantage. Trade qualifications are preferred but not essential.
• Current driver licence and willingness to pick up and deliver materials using a company vehicle. Fork Lift Licence and White Card an advantage.
• Takes initiative and can start/complete tasks, work autonomously with self-motivation with a strong eye for detail, quality, and pride in their workspace. Safety is our prime consideration.
• Willingness to grow with the role and support the team as required, looking for ways to become more efficient in completing tasks, and consistently looks for ways to help support the growing team.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, work autonomously, with a team and take direction.
• Clear and confident communication skills.
• High attention to detail and quality, presenting a clean, professional representation of the Usher brand at all times

• Sign writing, fabrication, spray painting and manufacturing experience.
• Experience in the Office 365 and Adobe suites.
• Keen Interest in construction and manufacturing.

Location: Gold Coast.
