About the team

The Business Recovery and Insolvency division is headed by 6 Registered Liquidators (3 of which are also Registered Trustees in Bankruptcy) and has approximately 40 staff.  The division has developed a reputation for providing organisations with a range of Business Recovery and Insolvency services, specialising in deep investigative recoveries.  The team’s work has regularly achieved substantial recoveries for stakeholders. 

About the role

You will play a lead role in the division’s financial administration tasks. You will work closely with the Insolvency Accounts Administration group and the broader insolvency team to attend to required accounts administration. This role is ideal for someone with an accounting/bookkeeping skillset. 

Key responsibilities

  • Setting up of new clients in IPS Cloud and APS
  • Processing transactions in IPS Cloud
  • Prepare ATO lodgements, preparation of Business Activity Statements, registration renewals with ASIC and AFSA and general administration
  • Managing all statutory lodgements
  • Assisting with and maintaining all cash books and IPS Cloud management of corporate and personal insolvency files, monthly reconciliations for multiple corporate and personal Insolvency Accounts
  • Preparation of monthly reporting, trust account reconciliation
  • Maintaining and assisting with the opening and closing of formal appointment bank accounts
  • Managing bank accounts and facilitating payments

  • You possess strong organisational and time management skills, coupled with the ability to prioritise many time sensitive tasks and lodgements.
