Insolvency Lawyer | High End Sydney CBD Insolvency Practice

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Lawyer to join our clients' team in their Sydney CBD office. 
  
Insolvency is a large and important practice area at the firm, however, they are expanding their areas of practice. The firm partakes in large-scale, complex dispute resolution as well as more discrete, smaller litigation matters across a wide variety of jurisdictions.

About the role
  
Reporting to the Directors, you will be working on a broad range of matters. some of the key tasks include the following: 

• Conduct a range of commercial and insolvency litigation, including the preparation of pleadings, evidence and submissions.
• Appear before courts and tribunals in the conduct of matters that you have the day-to-day management of;
• Be challenged to continually expand your legal knowledge and skills, providing high quality legal services to our clients.
• Act as a mentor to junior solicitors within the firm

What we are seeking: 

• 2+ years PQE in Insolvency/Restructuring Law. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in an environment where you work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
• Courtroom experience, including a working knowledge of practice and procedure and experience in insolvency or commercial litigation – desirable
