The company: Our client is a premier law firm who closely work across their practices groups nationally. Their insurance team is growing and advise on a wide range of corporate, brokers, insurers and underwriter companies across Australia.About the role: You will work closely with several Partners, who are all highly approachable and regarded in their field. This firm focuses on a collaborative approach with other practice groups and their other teams nationally. This team is seeking a solicitor or associate who is wanting to grow and manage a diverse range of work. Your work mix may include:
- advising on commercial and insurance disputes including product liability, property damages and public liability claims to name a few;
- involvement on the entire matter including court proceedings and mediations; and
- exposure not just to Queensland matters but work across Australia.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- 3 yrs+ PAE in general insurance (ideally defendant but plaintiff lawyers will be considered);
- experience in running some of your own matters;
- excellent negotiation skills for your level; and
- confidence to work closely with clients.
