Taronga Zoo Sydney is looking for an experienced and motivated Integration Specialistto join our Information Technology team!
About the Role…
The Integration Developer / Specialist manages Taronga’s suite of integrations linking Taronga’s applications and systems together. In this role you will provide troubleshooting and technical support on existing integrations, advice to users & management on integration best practices, and develop new solutions, to link Taronga’s applications and systems.
The role also manages our bespoke .NET applications. Managing code source control, carrying out amendments and being responsible for change and release management of new versions.
Key Accountabilities…
- Utilise appropriate integration tools and methods to address connectivity issues between Taronga’s systems.
- Create and maintain support documentation to assist others in restoring integration services and reduce the impact of unplanned outages.
- Apply best practice to the way Taronga integrates its systems and maintain a catalogue of all the integrations.
- Work closely with key stakeholders and application owners for the continual improvement of existing systems and provide integration advice when implementing new systems making sure integrations align with Taronga’s digital strategy.
- Managing the source control of Taronga’s .NET applications,
- Liaise with third party developers on larger projects where development has been outsourced.
- Manage and maintain the production and non-production environments for the integration suite and that the .NET applications run on.
- Responsible for the deployments of integrations and .NET code changes.
- Provide technical assistance to Project Managers on systems managed by the team as well as general IT knowledge.
- Comply with Taronga’s Customer Service Charter and suggest initiatives for further improvement to ensure industry leading standards are maintained.
About You…
We are looking for candidates that have:
- 3+ years of experience in creating and maintaining integration processes
- Experience in working in environments with hybrid internal and external developers
- Experience with Jitterbit Integrations and / or, SAP’s Business Technology Platform is desirable
- Experience with any of: Centaman, Salesforce, Microsoft 365 and SAP’s ERP & Success factors, is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with .NET code, and source control
- Working knowledge of T-SQL
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain integrations and their functionality to all employees across Taronga
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A current (or able to obtain) paid NSW Working with Children Check (at own expense)
- NSW Drivers Licence
