Communications Equipment Operation2.1 Operates the main switchboard2.2 Operates the patient administration system (WebPAS) for patient enquiries2.3 Assists in applying diversions to existing pagers and coordinates maintenance of pagers.2.4 Operates The Daily Roster computer system for “on call” staff,2.5 Operates other information systems as required.3. Emergency Medical and Other Services3.1 Alerts hospital staff, Emergency Response Teams and external emergency services for all emergencies that occur on site3.2 Responds to alarms and technical faults and maintains communication during emergency situations.
