Reporting into the CFO this role is seen as a key member of the management team.
The key responsibilities for the role are to assist the CFO in achieving the overall objectives of the finance function, with an emphasis on improving reporting and processes and elevating finance's position as a commercial business partner.
Day to day your responsibilities will have a strong project flavour whilst ensuring service excellence with financial reporting across multiple domestic business units; management reporting; ensuring financial control as well as leading and developing the finance team. A key component of the role will require you to work collaboratively with key stakeholders in providing them commercial and financial support as well as driving process improvements.
To be successful you will be formally qualified with a passion for the more technical elements of a group function within a large complex organisation. You will enjoy the responsibility of working as part of the senior management team and be passionate about what you do. You will also relish the opportunity to be actively involved in all elements of the business and enjoy the satisfaction of being able to manage a team and leading them through a series of process and systems improvements.
