About the Role
We are seeking a talented Mid-Senior Interior Designer who is looking for long-term growth and development within the team. With a large pipeline of projects ongoing and incoming, this role will suit an experienced and confident designer who can take the lead as well as manage a small team, ensuring delegation of tasks and timeliness of all projects. You will be a strong communicator with a confidence in your client consultation skills. You will have a creative flair with knowledge of popular ongoing trends and the ability to predict what's upcoming in design.
Within this role you will;
- Manage projects from initial concept through to completion
- Coordinate design and documentation
- Run large projects independently and lead the team
- Efficiently work under-pressure and handle tight time-frames
- Presenting, pitching and liaising with clients including 3D renderings, coloured floorplans and finishes boards
- Complete FF&E schedules
- Concept and preliminary design
You are a dedicated and passionate designer who is eager to expand their skills and knowledge within large-scale hospitality projects. You are a team player who is keen to take on various projects from concept to completion. You are willing to engage in regular workshops to encourage development and growth within the business. You have a confident and approachable personality with a thorough understanding of the D&C process.
You will also possess;
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Interior Design degree or equivalent
- Proficiency in Revit is essential
- Must have proven Hospitality design experience
- Demonstrated understanding of the design, detailing and construction process
- Knowledge of Building Code of Australia and other industry regulations
