Senior Interior Designer
We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer with strong end to end project experience and capabilities who is as passionate about design as they are about delivering great outcomes for our clients. You may be currently a senior or looking to setup to become a senior and take on a more leading role in projects.
We work on a range of sectors but primarily in commercial workplace offering you the ability to work on both medium to large scale workplace projects across Australia as well as smaller commercial and workplace projects to add variety.

This is a full-time permanent role.
General Responsibilities
- Working as part of the project team, delivering due diligence, concept design, detailed design, construction documentation and overseeing construction
- Contributing towards our documentation output with freehand drawings, Revit documentation, specifications and scheduling
- Co-ordination of other consultants and assisting in project meetings
- Undertake internal project administration duties including document and design management
- Develop design directions from the Project Leader
- Act as a mentor to graduate and more junior staff members
- Support business development through developing positive relationships with Greenbox clients, partners and suppliers. Attend client and industry events and other forums on an ad hoc basis to support the development of your reputation within the industry.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer with strong experience in workplace and commercial sectors. You need to be passionate about design and delivery of projects from end to end, especially larger scale projects with longer programs.
For large scale workplace projects, you will act as the primary designer working alongside an experience Associate leading the project and work collaboratively as a team. On smaller projects you will be capable of working as the leading designer and mentoring others withing the team.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Qualifications in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Strong knowledge and experience in workspace design (small to large)
- 6+ years' experience in commercial interior design
- Advanced Revit and strong presentation and rendering skills; Sketch-up, Indesign, Photoshop, Enscape, Rhino, Office Suite will be highly regarded
- Solution focused – demonstrated proactive and collaborative approach to projects, clients and teams
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering designs from briefing to project handover
- Strong design development and delivery experience including consultant coordination
- Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively communicate with clients, consultants and internal team members
- Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required
- Proven ability to manage more than one project at a time
