Qualita Business Accounting is a vibrant, client-focused firm based in Liverpool, NSW, dedicated to delivering exceptional accounting and advisory services. We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Accountant to join our dynamic team. This full-time role offers a balanced work-life integration with four days in the office and the flexibility of working from home on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for a diverse client base.
- Assistance with tax planning, BAS, GST, FBT, CGT, and Div 7a compliance.
- Mentoring and guiding one junior staff member, fostering their professional development.
- Liaising with the ATO and managing client relationships to ensure the highest level of service.
- Utilizing accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and Quickbooks effectively.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 2-4 years of experience in public practice accounting.
- Currently CA/CPA qualified or actively working towards it.
- Proven client-facing experience with strong relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage and oversee junior staff members.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
