Our client is an established, mid-tier Tax & Advisory Co. with multiple offices across Queensland. They provide a variety of Tax, Advisory and Wealth Management services to their broad client base and are well known across both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The Role
As a Intermediate Business Services Accountant, you will work alongside a Partner and Senior Accountant with the delivery of tax and compliance services to the client portfolio. Your core duties will include -

Duties:

• Work on assignments for clients including accounts preparation, annual returns, BAS preparation, trusts/companies
• Assistant with taxation services including researching and supporting your manager to conclude tax issues, verifying financial results and analyse income and expenditure, prepare & check tax returns and gather and manage FBT system (information gathering, completion and calculation procedures)
• Prepare individual, company, trust, partnership tax returns and financial statements
• Maintain and produce financial reports using Xero & MYOB
• Working with the Partner on Business Advisory matters

About You

• Degree qualified within Accounting, Commerce or Business
• Knowledge of taxation structures, Division 7a, CGT, small business concessions & superannuation
• Previous experience working within a public practice
• Intermediate - Advanced Xero, MYOB and Excel skills
