Intermediate/Senior Insolvency Accountant (2+ years experience)

Well established insolvency firm is recruiting an experienced Insolvency Accountant to join their team.

The Company
Curtis Partnership have partnered with a well-established insolvency firm based in the CBD. The firm offers a broad range of solutions for underperforming businesses and their partners comprise of experienced Liquidators and Trustees who are well respected in the industry. Due to anticipated work in the pipeline they are recruiting an Insolvency Accountant with 2+ years corporate insolvency experience.
The Role
They are looking for a career minded Insolvency Accountant to join their team. Duties include:

• Working in the corporate insolvency and reconstruction team on appointments such as voluntary administrations, receiverships, deeds of company arrangement, creditors’ trusts and liquidations
• Having carriage of a portfolio of small to medium sized assignments under supervision
• Conducting investigations and attending to the necessary statutory reporting
• Recovering and selling businesses and assets
• Litigation support for a range of matters
• Liaising with creditors and all stakeholders involved in various administrations
• Working as part of a team on a variety of cases

Skills and Experience

• 2+ years experience working in corporate insolvency and reconstruction
• Capable of running small to medium assignments with supervision, reporting to management and the appointees
• Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law or related
• Completing or completion of the CA or CPA programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
