With seven offices across Queensland, we tackle high-profile projects in the resource/mining, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
About the Role:
As our Internal Accountant, you will be based in either our Gold Coast or Brisbane office and work closely with our Governance and Commercial team, reporting directly to the CEO. Utilising modern technologies such as MYOB, Webexpenses, Teams, and SharePoint, you will ensure our financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting and end-of-month processes
- Managing accounts payables and oversight of accounts receivables
- Conducting bank and inter-entity reconciliations
- Handling payroll and superannuation
- Ensuring compliance and monitoring financial activities
- Continue developing and implementing new procedures and software with MYOB Advanced and Elmo
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar role
- Superior proficiency with MYOB and strong reconciliation skills
- Strong payroll skills and detailed knowledge of accounting processes and compliance obligations
- Excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
