The Opportunity
We have an exciting ongoing opportunity available for an Internal Auditor to join the EPA. The Internal Auditor - Audit & Assurance position provides administrative support to the Chief Audit Executive, secretarial support to the Audit and Risk Committee and undertakes audits and other assurance engagements, and other tasks as required by the Chief Audit Executive.
About You
You are a skilled and experienced auditor with a background in internal or external auditing. You will be outcome-focused, have strong analytical skills, and be committed to continual improvement.
You may have knowledge of environmental matters however it is not mandatory. You have a strong commitment to the outcomes sought by the EPA along with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
About the Team
The Audit and Assurance provides internal auditing, assurance, and consulting services across the organisation. We work with stakeholders throughout the agency to provide senior management and the Board with independent, risk-based assurance, advice, insights and foresight.
You will work with a small but valued team of audit professionals who are well-regarded within the organisation.
