Your Impact
This broad role will see you supporting the Internal Control and Internal Audit functions, including participation in financial controls testing, internal audit reviews and management of projects.
Whilst ensuring internal control over financial reporting, you will stive to provide a commercial and pragmatic governance approach to business requirements and the identification of improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in control design workshops and compliance meetings with the Group Internal Control Manager, Process and Control Owners
- Responsible for managing and maintaining Internal Control and Audit software
- Participate and complete internal audit reviews under the guidance of the Group Internal Audit Manager and/or Internal Audit Senior
- Perform data analytics over transactional datasets to support control testing
- Assist with reporting and communicating findings and recommendations to all levels of management, including the associated risks
About You
Looking for an individual that is seeking an opportunity to broaden their finance career and join our leading brand. Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience within auditing and a deep understanding of financial reporting and compliance. An ability to work autonomously, prioritise competing tasks and have a high attention to detail.
- Experienced within Financial Internal Control or Financial Audit
- Exposure to regulatory and financial compliance programs
- Strong analytical software skills and knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well developed organisational and time management skills
