STUFF YOU’D BE DOING
- helping customers to identify and source the right auto parts for their vehicles, providing expert advice on parts compatibility, availability and pricing
- remaining current with knowledge of new advancements and trends in the industry.
- maintaining inventory in our store and workshop
- processing customer orders accurately, ensuring correct pricing, part numbers & delivery info. Book times for the fitting of accessories to vehicles & work with suppliers to confirm efficient delivery
- being an integral part of a dedicated team who strives to achieve through excellent service, cross selling and promoting new accessories to our customers, who keep coming back.
STUFF WE NEED FROM YOU
- a detailed resume, outlining your specific experience
- more than 12months experience in a similar role including knowledge of automotive parts, components, and their functionalities
- you must be an Australian permanent resident
- a car license is essential & forklift license would be advantageous
- a true team player with a genuine passion for automobiles
- ability to work some Saturday mornings (only 9am-12pm)
- strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- an automotive certification or relevant technical training is an advantage
- previous experience working in an automotive dealership or spare parts store extremely favourable
- prior experience working with 4WD parts and basic mechanical knowledge
- intermediate computer & literacy skills
- highly motivated and proactive, with a positive attitude & proven time management skills
- committed to ensuring a positive customer service experience and building positive ongoing relationships with our customers
