About The Role
Situated adjacent to the Tonsley precinct, this growing organisation is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant who will be fully supported and trained. You will be responsible for day-to-day company sales, including quoting and converting quote opportunities to sales.
Working within a small but efficient team environment and reporting to the Sales Manager, this will involve high quality customer service and sales via the phone, both inbound and outbound. There will be a focus on follow ups to strengthen relationships with existing customers and to secure future sales.
Using a professional and friendly phone manner, there will be a focus on upselling products and solutions, as well as resolving customer queries in a timely fashion. Your conduct will positively align with excellent customer service and will clearly demonstrate our company values.
Day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Outbound phone calls following up warm leads
- Supporting customers via phone and email
- Qualifying, submitting and following up quotes in a timely manner
- Resolving enquiries or issues promptly and professionally
- Assisting the broader team and clients with general administrative tasks
- Building rapport and relationships with key clients
- Driving your own knowledge of business product
About You
This position would suit a customer service focused individual with experience or high interest in industrial and B2B markets, customer service and sales, with an ability to upsell products based on the identification of customer needs. Experience assisting a sales team within B2B and industrial space will be highly regarded, and you must have a willingness and aptitude to learn and apply technical knowledge.
Key skills and attributes required for this role are:
- Excellent customer service experience
- Experience supporting an internal/external sales team
- Being a team player, driven and goal orientated – with a can-do attitude
- Confidence on the telephone
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate computing skills and knowledge of software, e.g. Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- An understanding of industrial businesses
- The drive for continuous improvement and career progression
- Capacity to learn about pumps and grasp mechanical concepts
