Internal Sales Representative To Progress To Account Representative - Wingfield

On a local level, with 33 locations throughout Australia and New Zealand, we specialise in a wide variety of industrial products including Power Transmissions and Bearings.  We are currently experiencing an exciting growth stage and we continue to be committed to our objective to be an efficient and effective supply chain manager of products and services. 

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to grow within our business.  We are looking for an experienced Internal Salesperson / Parts Interpreter who will initially join the team for a period of approx 3-6 months in an internal role to learn the business and our products, after which you will start your new career as an Account Representative calling on our customer base.

A little bit about the role (initially:)

• Attend to counter, telephone and online orders and enquiries
• Follow up customer quotes
• Assist in converting customer quotes to sales
• Process customer orders including sourcing, packing and despatch
• You’ll have the full support of your team and the opportunity to constantly develop your skills and knowledge

• You’re naturally a team player with a desire to provide exceptional customer service
• You’ve got proven customer service experience, ideally in the industrial retail sector
• You’ve got a strong mechanical aptitude
• You’re great at multitasking and prioritising
• You’ve got great interpersonal and communication skills
