Description: MY client is seeking an experienced Export/Import Compliance Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating all export/import activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and resolving any related issues. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, manage licensing requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in international trade, strong knowledge of export/import regulations, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in International Trade or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Significant experience in export/import compliance
- Familiarity with relevant regulations such as ITAR, EAR, and customs regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
Desired Qualifications:
- Certifications in export/import compliance
- Experience in the defense industry
- Familiarity with additional regulations such as Defence Trade Controls Act
