Internship: Podcast video editing + Digital Marketing: Redcliffe one day per fortnight

Are you studying Film & TV, Media, Creative Industries, Marketing or Journalism with ability to edit video?Experienced with video editing on Adobe Premiere Pro?

Are you enthusiastic with a good work ethic?

Expected start date is 31 May or early June, for 100 hours (13.5 days 9.30 - 5.30 with a break for lunch).

Prefer current uni student or recent graduate, living Brisbane northside or Moreton Bay for start end of May 2024.

This temporary unpaid internship is in-person at our office, (it's not remote). Open to 2 university students or recent graduates eager to kickstart their career with a workplace placement. One with editing experience will be podcast editor; second will be Digital Marketing focused.

Please list all your tech skills in your CV e.g. 

• Canva or Photoshop
• video editing (we supply Adobe Premier Pro)
• MS Office: PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel
• any experience with websites e.g Wordpress, Wix, other.

We are located just an 800-metre walk from Kippa-Ring train station on the Redcliffe line. 

Ideal for someone seeking to gain real-world Digital Marketing experience before graduation or applying for a full-time graduate career role.

(For QUT and UQ, Brainpower Training is a preferred industry mentor. We can delay start date to match their Work Integrated Learning unit start date.)

Our Director and podcast host, Nina Sunday, graduated as a Production Manager from the 3-year, full-time AFTRS (Australian Film TV and Radio School) program, then worked at ABC television, Sydney before subsequently founding Brainpower Training Pty Ltd, based on her previous track record leading training workshops.

As an intern, you'll have the unique chance to work closely with a professional content creator, multiple podcasts host, author, and conference speaker.

In 2024, our trainers are spread across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, as well as Brisbane.

You are currently studying either: 

 - Film and TV, Creative Industries or Media

- Communication, Public Relations or Journalism  

- You are well-organised with good attention to detail. 

- You currently gain credits or distinctions in your university studies.

- You have strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail

- Your work ethic is strong

- You are willing to learn, work with focus and be reliable.

- You can work from our office in Kippa-Ring, one day per week or fortnight.

Someone good at English and looking to develop Digital Marketing experience before they graduate will find this role ideal.
