We have an exciting opportunity for an Internship Support /Business Development Officer(Part Time Position- 3 days a week) to be part of our team at ECA Internships in our Brisbane office. 

ECA Internships works closely with International Students, Universities and Host companies to provide students with Internship experiences specially matched to skill profiles.

The main duty of the Internship Support Officer role is to assist the Internship Consultants in overseeing aspects related to ACS Professional Year Framework compliance obligations. This can encompass a range of tasks such as host site inspections, conducting outbound compliance calls and emails pertaining to Mid Placement and End of placement compliance, as well as performing weekly quality control audits for compliance purposes. In addition, the Business Development Officer role involves aspects from prospecting to engaging with host company leads that are suitable to support placements in line with the ACS Professional Year Framework.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Internship Support
  • Ensure compliance with ACS Framework 3.0 by managing outbound mid-placement and end-placement calls according to the schedule. Report any identified risks.
  • Monitor placements, host interactions, supervisor ratios, and student Internship attendance for any quality issues and report any non-compliance or variations to the Business Operations Manager.
  • Support Internship Information Sessions conducted onsite.
  • Business Development
  • Grow Host companies for PY to ensure easy availability for placement in line with business needs.
  • Maintain business relationships with new and existing partners via follow up emails, face-to-face meetings, and social media connections.
  • Share student feedback with host companies to work towards continuous improvement 
  • Attend relevant networking events to build new relationships and potential host company leads.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with hosts and students, promptly responding to emails within 48 hours and ensuring complaints are managed and escalated as required.

  • The ability to travel locally within Greater Sydney to meet with clients for audit compliance. (occasionally)
