ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne is excited to offer nurses the opportunity to undertake a structured six month program - Introduction to Specialty Practice.
For Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses we offer the program in the following specialty areas:
- Intraoperative (Instrument/Circulating) Nursing
- Peri Anaesthesia (Anaesthetics and Recovery/PACU) Nursing
- Orthopaedics
- Intensive Care Nursing
- Interventional Cardiology (Cardiac Cath Lab) Nursing
A structured six month program inclusive of theory and clinical placements in your chosen stream
Full Time and Part Time positions are available
Support from highly skilled education, management and nursing teams
Theoretical and practical knowledge, including simulation training, incorporated into the study days
Ongoing employment upon successful completion of the program
The opportunity for Registered Nurses to apply for Post Graduate programs

The successful candidate will have;
Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA
Enrolled Nurses need to hold Diploma of Nursing Qualification
Recent acute care medical or surgical experience (minimum of 12 months)
