Inventory Administrator

Extrastaff is seeking to place an Inventory Administratorto work with our national manufacturing client (James Hardie) who are located in Carole Park in Brisbane's West.

As an Inventory administrator you will be responsible for managing the master-data and all products including accessories, ensuring the Stock on Hand is accurate at all times, so they can deliver to their customers on time and in full. 

This is a casual role through labour hire and the hours of work are Monday to Friday 4am - 12pm and this position does have the opportunity to go Perm after a qualifying period of 3 months for the right candidate.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE ARE:

• Manage warehouse stock movements 
• Warehouse activities including stocktake and damage check
• Maintain and ensure master data is accurate
• Managing the Cycle Count plan
• Organising and carrying out the counts for Finished Goods 
• Helping prepare the full stock takes quarterly
• Stock investigations and stock audits
• Managing bin locations and count process
• Checking of inbound stock  
• Run cycle counts in SAP for posting
• Warehouse mapping – layout illustration
• Accessory layout –Assist inbound process by allocating correct racking bin locations in WMS
• Consistently improving the inventory management process 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THESE:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Supply Chain or related field (considered favourably). 
• Intermediate computer skills. SAP experience is required. WMS is considered favourably
• At least three experience in warehousing, distribution, administration, will be considered favourably. Ideally a similar role. 
• High attention to detail
• Strong Data analysis Skills 
• Time management skills
