POSITION

We are currently seeking a fulltime Storeperson preferably with experience in the operation of flexographic printing machines to join our Gnangara WA warehouse team.  Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

• Receipt of incoming stock including unpacking of shipping containers
• Ensuring stock is stored in a safe and efficient manner, and is identifiable
• Preparation of outgoing stock for delivery including packing and palletizing
• Ensuring all associated paperwork is completed and filed in accordance with Company Procedures
• Preparation of the Printing Machine for the printing of Customer orders
• Safe operation of the Printing Machine for the printing of Customer orders
• Cleaning and maintenance of the Printing Machine on a regularly scheduled basis
• Responsibility for the quality of the printed bags, including correctness of print
• Other general warehouse duties as required

CANDIDATE

The successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate the following skill set:

• Experience in general warehouse operations
• Experience in the operation of multi-colour Flexographic Printing Machines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Very strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work unsupervised and also to work well in a team environment
• Ability to maintain a relaxed and professional demeanour under pressure
• Reliable and respectful
• Proactive approach to tasks
• Possession of current Driver's Licence and Forklift Operator's Licence would be beneficial

REWARD

The successful candidate will receive a starting salary in the range of $65,000 - $70,000 + Superannuation.  You will be part of a reputable national company that has been operating for over 60 years and has a company culture that recognizes and rewards intelligent, focused effort.
