As a successful Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Analyst, your key responsibilities would include:
• customary analyst responsibilities to support the team with data gathering, analysis and pitch preparation, as well as taking responsibility for managing internal transaction approval processes;
• building and maintaining client relationships as part of the team. This role has significant client contact and you may be required to act as the key point of contact for some clients generally or specifically with respect to particular elements of a transaction;
• work both independently, and with senior team members, in the origination and execution of transactions. The role will require execution expertise to be developed in both the Institutional and Listed Debt Capital Markets;
• work independently, and with other members of the team, in developing and managing a network of internal and external derivatives providers to facilitate the execution of cross-currency basis and other issuance related hedging;
• develop relationships with peers and DCM colleagues both within UBS' Australasia and offshore offices to develop market awareness and build a network;
• apply research, business analysis and financial modelling skills, as well as your market knowledge in
• identification of opportunities;
• keep abreast of developments in the global markets; and
• working knowledge of Investment Banking products more broadly

Debt Capital Markets. As part of the broader Global Banking team you will have the opportunity to broaden your product knowledge and experience across the full spectrum of Investment Banking with active involvement in transactions across a variety of sectors and products.
Your expertise
• a university graduate with strong academic results and have a track record of success, both academically and professionally;
• with at least 2 years' work experience gained from working in Investment Banking, accountancy, law
• strategic consultancy or a similar financial services profession; and
• a team player.
• strong origination, derivative and interpersonal skills and are committed to a career in Investment Banking;
• the ability to work under pressure to produce presentation material and financial analysis quickly and accurately; and
• a strong attention to detail, resilience and enthusiasm to excel in a competitive and rewarding team atmosphere.
