My client is a high-performing independent Investment Bank with an excellent reputation and client list. The team is looking to hire an experienced Associate to help them execute on a strong and diverse pipeline of deals.
You will have a background in M&A/Corporate Finance/Investment Banking and ideally have been covering the Australian market.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Project management of transactions including direct liaison with vendors, bidders and other deal stakeholders
- A wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, divestments and capital raisings;
- Reviewing key deal documents and providing input into legal agreements;
- Reviewing valuation materials and financial models;
- Managing the due diligence process including the data room and Q&A process
- Develop and nurture analysts;
- 3-6 years of M&A Advisory/Corporate Finance/Investment Banking experience
- Bachelor of Business, Commerce, Law or similar. A CFA, CA or similar is a bonus
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- A passion for business and finance
- Strong commercial acumen and work ethic
- Experience in developing and managing Analysts
