The purpose of this newly created role is to work with clients on a broad range of investment governance-related issues. These clients include Superannuation funds, Insurers, Charitable Foundations, and other institutional investors.
Core Duties
- Actively participate in thought leadership and the research process, including the preparation of due diligence documents, report writing and marketing materials relating to Investment Governance.
- Lead matters relating to Investment Governance with client teams at both large complex superannuation clients and boutique clients such as Family Offices, Charities and Foundations etc
- Providing high quality and timely consulting advice to clients for Investment Governance related matters including regulatory and market-related updates.
- Review (or establish) valuation governance frameworks and providing recommendations, value-adding feedback and assessment relative to regulatory expectations.
- Experience working with policy of APRA and ASIC
- Relevant experience within compliance and or governance.
- A sound, working knowledge of current, relevant investment governance legislation and compliance requirements.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills and an ability to work in, and contribute to, a team environment by working co-operatively and effectively in an environment of mutual respect.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate at all levels.
