This is a key role in the Investment Management and Delivery Office, where you will be responsible for delivering the Investment Data and reporting function strategy, to establish best-of-breed self-service BI tools and to generate actionable and valuable insights on our key strategic internal investments that support the Bank We’re Building.
In this role, you will be driving the execution of the team strategy by engaging with project, governance, finance and ExCo stakeholders to ensure tooling and reports are strongly adopted.
The IMDO is a fast-paced team, delivering high quality governance, delivery best practise and reporting capability in a constantly evolving environment, focused on quality project delivery.
The Investment Data Analyst is critical to making this happen and will:
- Drive the execution of the Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management Data strategy, whilst identifying priority and scheduling conflicts.
- Design and implement data solutions to address evolving Enterprise PMO and Change Team priorities.
- Be responsible for the maintenance, support, and evolution of the Project and Portfolio Management reporting suite built in Qlik Sense.
- Support the maintenance and evolution of our Data Staging Database as we grow and transform using best practices and modern data management techniques

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Demonstratable experience in data analysis tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau, PowerBI.
- Strong experience in designing engaging and accurate dashboards and reports through the use of fit-for-purpose Business Intelligence visualisation techniques.
- Data engineering skills such as logical and physical data modelling, database scripting and optimisation
- Experience with database systems such as SQL Server
- Strong skills in Business Analysis including establishing strong stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, attention to detail with a critical mindset all to drive continuous improvement.
- The capability to draw on expertise and experience to translate complex information into executive level insights that support decision making by Senior Executives.
- Experience in Project and Portfolio Management Office (PMO) teams highly desirable
