This highly respected Funds Management business has enjoyed a period of significant growth and change and are now looking to add to their Investment Operations team. The successful applicant will be a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Services professional, looking to build a career in Investment Operations Regulatory Reporting. You will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of APRA Regulatory Reporting, valuation monitoring in line with SPS 530.0 requirements, fee disclosure reporting, and the ongoing enhancement of the Funds Operational Due Diligence model.
The Role
The Investment Operations Regulatory Reporting Analyst will:
- Monitor external managers' reporting obligations, ensuring compliance with Investment Management Agreements.
- Conduct Operational Due Diligence reviews on Investment Managers, analysing external ODD and AIST findings, manager policies, and ensuring compliance.
- Assist in validating external manager valuations, reviewing policies and methodologies.
- Contribute to quarterly, ad hoc, and annual Regulatory Reporting (SRS 550, SRF 705.0, SRF 705.1, SRF 706.0).
- Support the collation and reporting of Investment Fees and Costs data in accordance with RG97 legislation.
- Monitor industry-wide regulatory changes impacting investment reporting responsibilities.
- Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for an efficient and compliant Fund operation.
- Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and processes meeting APRA reporting and ASIC RG97 standard requirements.
You will have previous experience working in a financial services business, ideally funds, investments, custody or similar. You will have a passion for financial services and have completed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. You will be looking to further your career and learn in a fast-paced deadline driven environment with the ability to multitask and produce detailed high-quality work. Demonstrated knowledge and or any experience of Investment Operations, financial planning, or compliance will be highly regarded. You will be a self-starter, problem solver, detail oriented and team player. Strong excel skills are essential.
