The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for an Investor Relations Analyst to join our Finance team in Melbourne Southbank or Sydney CBD office on a Permanent Full Time basis.
Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, and working closely with Investor Relations Manager as well as GM Investor Relations and Capital Markets, you will primarily be focusing on analysing and preparing information for APA and the investment community to uphold and improve APA's reputation, supporting and executing the Investor Relations strategy and plan.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and distribution of investor communications, including presentations, reports, website content, and press releases
Analyse financial results and compliance obligations, preparing reports for IR strategy and discussions
Aid in compiling analyses such as consensus estimates, valuation comparisons, and market trends to support the IR team
Contribute to the creation of monthly board reports and provide relevant information to internal stakeholders
Facilitate engagement with institutional investors and analysts, addressing their inquiries
Coordinate and manage investor events, such as briefings, site visits, and roadshows, both locally and internationally
Perform additional Investor Relations tasks as needed
Your background
Tertiary qualifications essential, preferably in Finance, Business or Engineering disciplines
Proven work experience in financial analysis with the ability to assess financial statements and forecasts
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, in particular pivot tables and data formulas
High level of attention to detail
Demonstrated strong ability to understand financial models
Strong communication skills (especially written)
Demonstrated strong planning and organisational skills

The Investor Relations and Capital Markets team is a dynamic and integral part of our organisation, encompassing the Investor Relations, Tax, and Corporate Finance teams.
This multifaceted group is dedicated to fostering transparent and strategic communication with our investors, ensuring compliance and optimisation in tax matters, and managing corporate finance initiatives that drive our company's growth and stability.
With a focus on building investor confidence and supporting our strategic goals, the team works collaboratively to deliver expert guidance, craft compelling communication materials, and develop financial strategies that align with our company's vision.
